Olympian Jahangir Butt passed away on Tuesday, reported 24NewHD TV channel. He was 78. Jahangir Butt was not feeling well for the last few days. 

Jahangir Butt was part of Pakistan’s hockey team which took part in the 1968 Summer Olympics, 1972 Summer Olympics and 1996 Summer Olympics.

He was born on 17 April 1943 in Gujranwala. 

It is important to mention here that Pakistan men’s field hockey team competed and won a gold medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico.
