Voucher re-registration centres set

September 5, 2021

Three new service centres will be set up starting tomorrow to accept resubmission of registrations for people who need to provide supplementary information or clarify incorrect information under the Consumption Voucher Scheme.

Operating until September 15, the centres are located at the General Post Office in Central, Wan Tau Tong Neighbourhood Community Centre in Tai Po and Leung King Community Centre in Tuen Mun.

Eligible registrants may resubmit their registrations with a copy of their Hong Kong identity card in person or by a trusted person at the Consumption Voucher Scheme Secretariat on 17/F, Pioneer Centre in Mongkok or any of the new service centres.

All four locations provide the same services during office hours from 9am to 6am, Monday to Saturday.

In general, people will receive an SMS notification on their registration result about one week after submission of registration.

Registrants with their eligibility confirmed will receive disbursement of the first $2,000 voucher on October 1.

The resubmission arrangement only applies to those who had submitted a registration during the scheme's registration period, ie July 4 to August 14, but whose registrations had not been further processed due to reasons such as inaccurate or incomplete information.

The arrangement is not applicable to those who were confirmed to be ineligible under the scheme or who had never submitted any registration during the registration period.

People can check their registration status via the 18 5000 hotline.
