Our team at Complete Kitchen & Bath wants to help you make your bathroom remodeling project the best it can be, and the best way to achieve that success is to have a solid plan in place before you get started. In order to help you make that plan, we have put together this article going over three key things to consider before you begin the remodeling process.

3 Things to Consider Before You Start Your Bathroom Remodeling Project
  1. Storage- One key to successful bathroom remodeling is including enough storage in your design. While you may not think that you keep that much stuff in the bathroom, when you add up all the toiletries, medicines, towels, grooming tools, etc., you’ll find that there really is quite a bit. Make sure your newly renovated bathroom has enough storage to comfortably house all of it.
  2. Ventilation- Another important thing to consider when planning your bathroom remodeling project is ventilation. Bathrooms generate a lot of moisture and steam, which creates ideal conditions for mold growth. Mold is undesirable for many reasons, from the damage it can do to your structure to the serious health problems it can cause. If you want to prevent mold problems, make sure to include an effective ventilation fan in your design.
  3. Lighting- Since most people do their grooming in front of their bathroom mirror, if you want to make your proposed bathroom renovations as successful as possible, you’ll need to include plenty of lighting in your design. Specifically, make sure the area around the mirror is well-lit so that you can clearly see what you’re doing as you shave or apply makeup.
