A series of videos and photos of tornadoes were posted by storm chasers that staged in DeKalb County just west of Northern Illinois University and Kane County late Monday afternoon, August 9, 2021. Tornado damage was reported in Creston, Malta, DeKalb, Cortland, Maple Park, Burlington and other communities.
