Demolition continues Saturday of a bridge that was damaged by a tanker truck fire earlier this week. Construction crews continue to work on taking down a bridge that carries part of Fairfield Avenue over I-95 in Norwalk.
Police are investigating after a shooting in East Hartford Sunday night. According to Public Information Officer Nick Reinert, Manchester police were on scene assisting East Hartford police.
Police are investigating after a double homicide in Hartford Saturday evening. According to Hartford Public Information Officer Aaron Boisvert, the incident happened on 94 Hendricxsen Avenue.
I-91 South in Windsor is closed following a motorcycle crash Saturday night. According to the Department of Transportation, it is closed between exits 35 and 36.
A car fire briefly shut down southbound lanes on the Merritt Parkway in Norwalk Saturday night. According to the Norwalk Fire Department, crews responded to a car fire on the Merritt Parkway between exits 40 and 41 just before 6 P.M.
A woman has died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night. According to police, officers responded around 10:52 to the area of 2320 Dixwell Avenue for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle.
A man has died following a structure fire in Stamford Friday evening. According to Deputy Chief John Pritchard, the 911 center received calls about a possible fire in the area of Adams Avenue and Ivy Street at 6:53 P.M.
