The trawl for back payments is all over now, as far as the DWP is concerned :

https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/welfare-rights/news/item/dwp-completes-reassessment-journey-for-all-600000-incapacity-benefit-claimants-who-were-potentially-underpaid-on-their-migration-to-esa

I’ve just encountered a couple, who appear to have missed out on their double SDP for many years.

I don’t know just yet, but I suspect they will have ignored their trawl letter when it was received.

Any experience of whether the DWP will now use that as grounds for not paying the claim back now?

The report suggests if you’ve been missed by the trawl,  you should contact them.

They think it’s all over…?
