5.78m vaccine doses given

About 5,787,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 3,292,400 people receiving their first dose and around 2,495,400 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,288,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,003,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,002,400 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,493,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 68,800 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 12,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 11,700 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 23,500 people received their first dose and around 20,700 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is about 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 6,600 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 41,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 13 people were sent to hospitals.
