California Welding Institute receives Welding Workforce Grant
The AWS Foundation, Miami, has awarded the Welder Workforce Grant to California Welding Institute. The school will receive $25,000 to purchase equipment to outfit new welding stations.
The American Welding Society through the AWS Foundation supports programs to ensure the growth and development of the welding industry through research and educational opportunities. In 2020 the foundation awarded more than $1.5 million in grants and scholarships.
