Many local musicians will be playing the Big Gig this year.

We’re a little over a month out from Summerfest’s Sept. 2 kickoff, and we’ve just been treated to more news about Milwaukee’s biggest festival: 30+ more musicians have been added to the lineup.

In addition to headliners like Weezer, Luke Brian and Megan Thee Stallion, many local musicians will be playing this year, including Grace Weber, REYNA, Klassik, Wes Tank and Brett Newski.

Organizers also released a full, day-by-day schedule for the festival this week. So if you’ve been dying to figure out who you’re going to see before and after [insert your favorite band here], now’s your chance.

Summerfest will take place over three weekends this year: Sept. 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18. There’ll also be three Kick-Off Concerts on Sept. 1, 8 and 15. And, as always, Milwaukeeans who love music but don’t love spending money will have many opportunities to score free or discounted tickets. Visit summerfest.com for more information.
