Cops: Religious gatherings to be blamed

SIPITANG: The sharp increase in Covid-19 positive cases in the district is believed to be due to the irresponsible act of several individuals who gathered during religious ceremonies, said District Police Chief, Champin Piuh.He said the increase had taken place dramatically since July 15 involving several villages in the Melamam sub-district.
