4.77m vaccine jabs administered

About 4,771,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 2,790,400 people receiving their first dose and around 1,981,000 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,137,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,652,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 818,500 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,162,500 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 63,300 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 7,600 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 14,200 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 19,000 people received their first dose and about 22,500 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 98%, while it is 99% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,900 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 27,300 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
