Magnum photographers explore the topic of food for Electra

Electra magazine commissioned Magnum photographers Alex Webb, Jacob Aue Sobol, Cristina de Middel, Gueorgui Pinkhassov, Martin Parr and Lindokuhle Sobekwa to make work for its latest issue themed around food. Each photographer’s images appear in 10–14 page spreads in the magazine, accompanying essays on dining out, sustainable food systems, the concept of expertise in cooking, and more. Enri Canaj photographs Turkish refugees in Greece

An article in Le Monde sees Enri Canaj documenting the situation of asylum seekers in Athens who fled Turkey following the coup d’etat against Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2016. You can read the story in the 14th–15th July issue of the newspaper and online here.

Hannah Price’s work on show at Madison Museum of Contemporary Art

‘Between’, an exhibition at Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) featuring the work of Hannah Price, opened last week. Running until February 13, 2022, the show presents photographic works which explore the idea of the liminal, and includes an image from Price’s series ‘Cursed By Night’. Find out more here.
