CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - Former Camden Mayor Gwendolyn Faison has died. Camden's first elected woman mayor served between 2000 and 2010.Gwendolyn Faison, Camden's First Elected Woman Mayor, Has Died At 96

Faison guided the city through an eight-year period under state control.

She was also the first black woman to be president of the Camden City Council.

Gwendolyn Faison was 96 years old.
