Gwendolyn Faison, Camden's First Elected Woman Mayor, Has Died At 96
CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - Former Camden Mayor Gwendolyn Faison has died. Camden's first elected woman mayor served between 2000 and 2010.
Faison guided the city through an eight-year period under state control.
She was also the first black woman to be president of the Camden City Council.
Gwendolyn Faison was 96 years old.
