9 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee: July 7-10

The NBA Finals should pair nicely with a number of local craft beers and events slated for this week.

Wednesday, July 7

Sprecher Brewing’s Roll Out the Barrel traveling beer garden comes to Juneau Park (900 N. Prospect Ave.) until July 25. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday, July 8

Raised Grain Brewing’s pop-up beer garden comes to Fox Brook Park (2925 N. Barker Rd.) for the weekend. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Milwaukee Brewing Company is bringing some taps to Tap Yard Waukesha (1150 W. Sunset Dr.) from 4 to 9 p.m.

Friday, July 9

Cashmere Shrinkage Pale Ale is the weekly release at 1840 Brewing. It is double dry-hopped with Cashmere hops and has a moderate 5.5% ABV. Online presale is Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

1840 Brewing Company is bringing its traveling beer garden to Homestead Hollow Park (N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown) from 4 to 9 p.m.

Try samples from Third Space Brewing and Leinenkugel’s at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 4 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 10

Try beer from Rookery Brewing Co. at New Barons Brewing Cooperative (2018 S. 1st St.) from noon to 6 p.m. Pick up a bottle of Irish Rose, an oak-aged farmhouse ale made with Rishi tea, black currants, elderberry and rose hips.

Honey Creek Park (8405 W. National Ave.) is the site of 1840 Brewing’s traveling beer garden from 2 to 9 p.m.

Head to Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) to Celebrate Women. Barley’s Angels, Girls Pint Out and 1840 Brewing will all be there from noon to 5 p.m. as part of the Love, Milwaukee project.
