Armed Forces Compensation Scheme lump sum
Hi
Are the lump sum awards from the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme treated as Capital for Universal Credit? How are they treated for other means tested benefits such as HB?
If they are counted as capital and not placed in a trust are the lump sums ignored for the first 12 months as with other compensation payments?
If put in a trust then the capital and any income from it would be ignored?
