2. 17th Annual Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic

The Tour of America’s Dairyland, the largest cycling event in the country, makes its way to Shorewood this Friday for a day full of competitive cycling. Amateurs and professionals alike are encouraged to attend, and experience all the fun the area’s vibrant cycling community has to offer. Registration through the Facebook Events page is encouraged.
3. Big Idea VIII: Stronger Together Opening Reception

Friday marks the grand opening of Big Idea VIII: Stronger Together. The eighth installment of this exhibition curated by Latino Arts Inc. brings together Latinx elementary and middle school students from the Milwaukee area to reflect on themes of community, change and cultural identity. The eighth installment’s theme, Stronger Together, reflects on themes of community resilience and perseverance in the face of the pandemic and other obstacles. The exhibition kicks off with a free opening reception tomorrow evening. Registration is encouraged.

4. Supermoon Beer Company Pop-Up Patio

Pull up a chair and join Supermoon at their brewery storefront for a pop up event showcasing the best of their draft beers. In addition to Supermoon’s Midbeam ale, which offers a light and tart hybrid flavor, try three all new draft-only beers: the blond ale Spells, the dry-hopped saison Life on Fars, and the open-fermented witbier Welkbier. Draft beer service and to-go bottles are offered, on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. Milwaukee Comic Con

The perennial convention for all things comic is back at the Wisconsin State Fair Pavilion. For just $8 per adult and free admission for kids, enjoy over 300 tables from various creators, vendors, and comic book artists, alongside special guests and plenty of fan-created cosplays. Special guests include local horror host Deadgar Winter and multi-talented producer and animator Jeff Balke, who has worked on over 300 comics for companies like Zenescope and Marvel.
6. DOGA Dog Yoga

7. Elkhorn Antique Flea Market

Join the Elkhorn Antique Flea Market for their second show of the season at the Walworth County Fairground. Featuring an eclectic collection of pottery, dolls, furniture, vintage glassware, and everything in between, the antique flea market is sure to have something for everyone. And with roughly 500 dealers on average, you’re unlikely to leave disappointed. Tickets are $5 at the gate, with free parking provided.
8. Black is Beautiful Ride, Vol. III

Billed as “a moment to collectively exhale as a community,” this event is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy a calming day of recreation while also raising awareness for the need for equity in transportation and access to green trails across racial and income barriers.
