What makes High Brow unique?

Every client of High Brow benefits from our unparalleled talent and knowledge. Each client receives a customized service, including an education on the service provided and a quick lesson on how to replicate the results at home. Our team brings talent, know-how and a dash of charm to every client.

How has High Brow grown since its inception?

When I started High Brow 10 years ago, I had a staff of one (me!) and one treatment room. After just six months, I hired our first esthetician, Shannon, who is still with us today. Since then, we have grown to a team of 13, and grown from one treatment room to five. And we have expanded our services menu to offer a wide variety of medically-based esthetic services, along with phyto and aromatherapy.

What does it take to be a High Brow Girl?

PASSION! Our team is exceptional for many reasons, but ultimately it comes back to passion. Passion for their craft, passion for their clients, and passion in their commitment to excellence.

What inspired you to open High Brow?

When I first opened High Brow, there were very few esthetic-focused boutiques or spas. Salon services were the focus, with the spa treated as an afterthought, creating a lack of advanced treatments and education. As a result, estheticians would bounce from spa to spa looking for something bigger, better and more rewarding. I opened High Brow to create an environment where esthetics would be the star, supported by a focus on ongoing education and a standard of excellence.

What would you recommend to anyone looking to get started as an esthetician?

Do your research! Find a program that suits your learning style and then find a salon or spa that aligns with your interests. Apply for an entry-level position in reception or in dispense. Here, you can truly be part of the team while you receive your initial training. You will know right away if it is the place for you. There’s a perfect place for everyone out there!
