3.04m vaccine doses given

About 3,041,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,817,900 people receiving their first dose and around 1,223,800 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 795,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,022,400 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 507,200 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 716,600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 13,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 2,900 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 13,300 people received their first dose and about 5,400 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 9,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 21,500 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospitals.
