TRS Welding & Fabrication adds waterjet system

TRS Welding and Fabrication has added a Mach 500 Flow waterjet system to its Gilbertsville, Pa., facility, to handle large projects with a variety of intricate parts.

The Dynamic XD cutting head tilts automatically as required instead of remaining fixed at a 90-degree angle to the flat plate. Computer models control a small “wrist” cutting head for automatic cutting angle adjustment. The system produces no HAZ during cutting and eliminates the need for secondary grinding.
