Visitors to the Estabrook Beer Garden's grand opening on June 20 enjoyed free beer after the opening ceremonies. The beer garden will open at noon each day this summer, weather permitting. Last call is 9 p.m.

12 Beer Events Brewing This Week in Milwaukee: June 2-6

Beer season is upon us!

Wednesday, June 2

Sprecher Brewing’s Roll Out the Barrel traveling beer garden begins a lengthy stay at Cooper Park (8701 W. Chambers St.) this week. They will be pouring there until June 20.

Thursday, June 3

Raised Grain Brewing is taking over the taps at The Tap Yard Waukesha (1150 W. Sunset Dr.) from 4 to 9 p.m. Expect standouts like Naked Threesome IPA and Paradocs Red IPA, of course.

Third Space is coming to the Estabrook Park Beer Garden (4600 Estabrook Dr.). Try Happy Place IPA on tap, sip on a sample or two and challenge Third Space rep Nick Cusatis to a putting competition to win prizes.

Raised Grain is also bringing its pop-up beer garden to Fox River Park (W264 N4500 River Rd., Waukesha) for the weekend. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Friday, June 4

Couple, Two, Tree West Coast IPA is the weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company. Presale begins at 9 a.m. on Friday and bottles can be picked up from 3 to 10 p.m. on Friday, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The grand opening of the Third Space Brewing beer garden in Elm Grove Park (13600 Juneau Ave.) is this weekend. Beer will be flowing from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Third Space (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) is also releasing Pinkish Hue Hibiscus Blonde Ale at the taproom on Friday.

1840 Brewing is bringing its beers to Homestead Hollow County Park (N120 W19809 Freistadt Rd., Germantown) from 4 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, June 5

The first installation of Brews & Brats is happening at Station No. 6 (6800 W. Becher St.) at noon. The beer bar is pairing brats from Becher Meats Butcher Shop with beer from Warpigs. Oh yeah, the brats are bacon cheddar beer brats made with WarPigs Salmon Pants Lager.

1840 Brewing is busy over the weekend. They’re also heading to Ellsworth Park (600 E. Ellsworth Ln., Bayside) to pour beers from 2 to 9 p.m.

Try samples from Barrel 41 Brewery at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, June 6

JR’s Pups-N-Stuff will be at Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) from 2 to 5 p.m. Learn about this great animal rescue outfit and have a beer or two in the process.
