No new COVID-19 cases found

May 28, 2021

The Centre for Health Protection announced that as of midnight, no new COVID-19 cases have been recorded, leaving the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong at 11,836.

Twenty cases were reported in the past 14 days, including five local cases from unknown infection sources and one that is possibly a local case.

Meanwhile, seven schools are now covered in the compulsory testing notice due to outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection or influenza-like illness.

The Government will set up two mobile specimen collection stations tomorrow for all members of the public for free testing. Another five stations will extend the service period to June 13.
