Law firms are reworking their in-office health requirements after a guidance update from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) last week said fully vaccinated individuals can safely inhabit most indoor and outdoor spaces without wearing masks and social distancing.

Officials with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health say the city is reviewing the CDC’s and state’s updated guidance and plans to issue a decision “within days” on mask use for individuals for whom two weeks passed since their final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. As of late, the city requires masks for working in an office, in contrast to the CDC’s most recent change, but the city also lifted indoor occupancy limits earlier this month.
