Handling Hybrid Working in Your Business

Over the last 12 months many businesses have seen significant changes to their working practices, which has led to many employers considering a ‘hybrid’ working policy. From an employment law perspective, it is important that you understand your obligations around flexible working and have the correct procedures in place for all of your staff. This workshop will take you through those obligations as well as providing some guidance on vaccination and testing policies in the workplace. There will also be chance to ask any questions to the speakers.

Topics covered:

  • Flexible working – what are the key considerations?
  • Flexible working – what are your obligations as an employer?
  • Flexible working – the process and how to make sure you get this right
  • Vaccination and testing policies- do you need one?
  • Q&A

The workshop will be led by Katie Ash, Head of the Employment Law team at Banner Jones Solicitors. With over 16 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of HR and employment law matters, she is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Katie acts for both employers and individuals covering everything from claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and discrimination to employment contracts, grievances, disciplinary matters, policies, procedures, TUPE and settlement agreements.

Information

Please note this workshop will be held online via Microsoft Teams, so attendees will need to check that they have the correct software to attend the session. A link to the workshop will be sent out to everyone registered for the event 2-3 days prior to it taking place.
