Your Guide to Asian Restaurant Week

Milwaukee’s first Asian Restaurant Week kicks off Sunday.

May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the history and contributions of AAPI in the United States and learn about the diverse culture and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

A cause for celebration within that celebration is Milwaukee’s first Asian Restaurant Week, which runs May 16-22. The point of the event is to encourage diners to support the our area’s diverse Asian and Pacific Island cuisines.

Local organization ElevAsian is sponsoring the event, and below is the list of area restaurants you can and should try from the group’s website. For hours and info about dine in/takeout, call ahead.
