CDN technology specialist Broadpeak has launched a new software-based CDN benchmarking tool in collaboration with Intel. 

Using Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK), along with Intel Network Builders’ secure DevCloud environment, Broadpeak said that its CDN benchmarking tool simulates realistic video player behaviours and supports the latest protocols.
