About 1,562,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 989,700 people receiving their first dose and about 573,000 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 452,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 537,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 324,800 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 248,200 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 6,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 2,800 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 3,500 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 2,200 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 1,700 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 500 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 11,500 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 13,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 95%, while it is 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,000 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 14,700 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospitals.
