Prince William’s Pre-Wedding Dinner for Royal Guests hosted by Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen’s cousin, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London on this day in 2011, on the eve of the Wedding. While the bride and groom weren’t present (spending the evening quietly), the rest of the entire British Royal Family was in attendance, including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh, Princes of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (wearing her 4-strand Pearl Choker with small Diamond Clasp, and leaving early), the Princess Royal (in Empress Maria Feodorovna’s Sapphire Choker) and Sir Tim, the Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester (wearing the Gloucester Pearl and Emerald Suite), the Duke and Duchess of Kent (in her Diamond Flower Suite), Princess Alexandra (wearing Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna’s Emerald Choker), and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent with their various children and spouses.
