7 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: April 28-May 2

Good City Brewing is opening up its Wauwatosa location and Raised Grain Brewing is opening up for brunch.

Wednesday, April 28

Trouble Maker’s Cocina Mad Mexican Food beer dinner returns to The Sugar Maple (441 E. Lincoln Ave.) from 5 to 8 p.m. A $50 tickets includes a four-course menu and four beers. A portion of the proceeds benefit Advocates of Ozaukee.

Friday, April 30

The soft opening of Good City Brewing’s Wauwatosa location (11200 W. Burleigh St.) is this weekend. They won’t be serving food quite yet, but they’ll have beer, and isn’t that really the point?

Riwaka The Dinosaur DIPA is the weekly release at 1840 Brewing Company. Presale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Pickup is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Milwaukee Brewing Company will be handing out samples at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 6 p.m.

Try samples from The Fermentorium at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, May 1

Three Cellars (N72 W13400 Lund Lane, Menomonee Falls) celebrates its fifth anniversary by releasing Ridged Chips, a hazy IPA brewed by Eagle Park. Smoked@225 will be in the parking lot serving up barbecue.

Sunday, May 2

Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) is serving Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu looks pretty amazing.
