1.27m vaccine jabs administered

About 1,275,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 842,800 people receiving their first dose and about 432,500 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 405,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 437,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 282,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 149,800 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,700 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 3,300 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 400 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 7,600 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 7,100 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 400 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,700 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 96%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine is about 94%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,600 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 8,300 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospitals.
