Talkdesk partners are primed for another year of growth with the addition of three new channel leaders, including a former Vonage senior vice president.

Talkdesk has added:

  • Robert Gavin as vice president of alliances. He previously was senior vice president at Vonage.

  • Chad Haydar as vice president of channel. He joined Talkdesk last fall after seven years with Oracle.

  • Peri McDonald as vice president of customer and partner marketing. She joined Talkdesk last summer after five years with Salesforce.

Jon Heaps, who was Talkdesk’s vice president of global cloud distribution, left the company in February to become Observe.AI’s vice president of channel.

Agent Revenue Growth

Talkdesk says it rounded out 2020 with the 10 top master agents in the contact center business. That equated to 30% growth in active agents that contributed to 103% year-over-year growth in associated channel revenue. The company goes to market with cloud distributors, resellers, strategic alliances and its AppConnect Marketplace.

Talkdesk has already added new partner agreements in key countries. Those include Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Singapore and Spain. It also has new partnership agreements across numerous verticals.

Haydar said Talkdesk’s innovation and global expansion fuel its reseller channel.

“Partners in this market want to work with cloud contact center providers who are constantly at the top of their game delivering the best customer experience solutions and who have a global demand for their offers,” he said. “We have both. And it is a privilege to partner with these resellers to help get Talkdesk CX Cloud quickly into the hands of enterprises around the world.”

In the first two months of 2021, reseller partners have extended Talkdesk’s global reach, with Evolutio in Spain, Welltel in Ireland, VIS in Australia and Singapore, Hold Marketing in Mexico and Carahsoft in government agencies and educational institutions.

Additionally, Talkdesk recently announced a new partnership with Alorica, one of the largest global business process outsourcing (BPO) organizations in the world.

New Multimodal Program Coming

Haydar will launch a new multimodal program for Talkdesk partners that is “flexible and easy to participate in.”

“We will allow our partners to engage whichever way their business and their customers desire,” he said. “You will continue to see us expand internationally with our reseller channel, targeting additional countries, while also broadening our reach in markets where we are already active. We are also going to be focusing on how we deliver to customers in key industries. Resellers will be vital to this effort.”

Talkdesk will have a keen focus on further formalizing its partner program, Haydar said. It also plans to continue growing its channel team.

Tony Barbone is Talkdesk‘s chief revenue officer.

“The growth of Talkdesk’s ecosystem has been monumental, exceeding every expectation set when we first set out to expand our alliances program,” he said. “Building a strong, broad partner network ensures our customers find value faster and feel daily the innovation that no other contact center solution offers.”
