Hue Vietnamese Restaurant in Tosa to Close

Get your fix in now before they close this weekend.

Some sad news just came through the wire: Hue Vietnamese Restaurant in Wauwatosa (6519 W. North Ave.) will close its doors on Saturday, April 10.

The restaurant, which also has a location in Bay View (2691 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.), will serve its last noodle bowls and pho at the end of that business day. If you’re a fan of the restaurant’s fish fry (turmeric-marinated, beer-battered swai fish), you still have one more Friday to get your fix.

Here are more details about the closure, via press release:

The location will continue to be used for our SquareMeal Fresh Frozen meal service, production for local hunger relief programs, catering, and Food Truck operations. Our Hue Asian Kitchen Food Truck will continue to be present over the summer at The Landing at Hoyt Park and other locations.

We want to thank the Wauwatosa community for its support over the last seven years. While the COVID Pandemic has certainly been challenging, this closure is due to the expiration of our lease and has been part of a reorganization plan started in 2019 with the purchase of the former Sven’s Café land and building at 2699 S Kinnickinnic Ave in Bay View.

Any unused gift cards may still be used at the Wauwatosa location through April 10 and may be used anytime at our Bay View location. We are focusing our energy and efforts towards our exciting new expansion in Bay View. More news involving these plans will be released soon.
