HK reports 7 COVID-19 cases

April 6, 2021

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating seven additional COVID-19 cases, three of which are locally transmitted and epidemiologically linked with a local case.

The new cases involve four males and three females aged between 12 days and 40.

All three local cases live in Wah Tong House in Yau Tong Estate.

Three of the imported cases arrived from India while the other one is from Pakistan.

A total of 127 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 29 local ones, of which nine have unknown infection sources.

Additionally, the Government will extend the service period of the mobile specimen collection stations at Hankow Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and Sha Tin Park after reviewing the usage and public demand for the COVID-19 testing service.
