7 imported COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating seven additional COVID-19 cases, all of which are imported, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 11,508.

 

The imported cases involve two men and five women aged between four and 48. Five of them arrived from India, while the other two are from the Philippines and Indonesia.

 

A total of 130 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 39 local ones, of which 11 have unknown infection sources.

 

Additionally, the Government has decided to extend the service period of the mobile specimen collection station at MCP Central in Tseung Kwan O to April 5 after reviewing the usage and public demand for the COVID-19 testing service.
