Milwaukee Candy Stores Where You Can Get Easter Chocolates

Supply your Easter basket locally this year.

1. Freese’s

7312 W. GREENFIELD AVE., WEST ALLIS | 414-453-5353

The selection here includes chocolate bunnies and vanilla and raspberry whipped cream eggs. They are open Friday until 5:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday.

2. Northern Chocolate Co.

2034 N. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING DR. | 414-372-1885

While the owner, Jim Fetzer remains semi-retired, he does have some Easter offerings this year. His voicemail notes there are “limited” chocolate bunnies and “plenty” of mini meltaways. The shop is open Friday from 10-11:15 a.m., with a brief closure for religious observation, and then reopening from 1:15-4 p.m. On Saturday the store will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Our biggest subscription sale of the year is happening this week only!

3. Indulgence Chocolatiers

211 S. SECOND ST. | 414-223-0123

The Walker’s Point location offers chocolate bunnies and frogs as well as marshmallow caramel eggs and peanut butter crunch eggs (a fan favorite). The chocolate bars and truffles are also popular. They are open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

4. Burke Candy & Ingredients

3840 N. FRATNEY ST. | 414-964-7327

The Riverwest candy shop is one of my favorites for butter toffee. You may still be able to get your hands on bunnies (in dark, milk and white chocolate), cream-filled chocolate eggs and Easter pectin jellies and mendiants. The are open from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
