The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 19 additional COVID-19 cases, of which seven are locally transmitted including one with an unknown source of infection.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 11,499.

The unlinked case involves a 33-year-old man.

The Government announced that 365 Tseung Kwan O Village where the patient lives and MCP Central of Metro City Phase II where he visited are now covered by compulsory testing notices.

Ting Tak House of On Ting Estate in Tuen Mun is now covered by a compulsory testing notice as one or more new confirmed cases were reported there.

Mobile specimen collection stations will be set up at the G/F garden next to Ting Tak House and the G/F open area of MCP Central tomorrow for residents, workers and visitors subject to compulsory testing.

Twelve imported cases arrived from Indonesia, the Philippines, Botswana, Canada, Ireland and Pakistan.

A total of 130 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 48 local ones, of which 15 have unknown sources of infection.
