490k vaccine doses administered

About 490,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 304,600 people receiving their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and about 34,300 people getting their second dose.

 

About 151,300 people have received the BioNTech vaccine so far.

 

Around 5,400 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, some 3,500 people received the jabs at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs) while about 1,900 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 9,700 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 5,300 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 4,400 through private doctors and clinics.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at the eight CVCs is about 94%.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,500 people had reserved their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online in the past 24 hours.

 

As of midnight, four people were sent to hospital.
