An Amber Alert was issued about 10:32 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 for the abduction of an 8-month-old boy who was in a vehicle when it was stolen from south suburban Dolton, Illinois at or near the Maxwell Street Polish Sausage fast food restaurant on Sibley Boulevard.
The boy, Braiden Waters, was in the back seat of a black 2021 Kia K5 when an unknown male drove off in the vehicle about 7:30 a.m. at 1320 Sibley Boulevard in Dolton, according to Dolton Police Department.
UPDATE: Kidnapping Victim and Vehicle Located by 11:54 a.m.
The black Kia has North Carolina license plates HKB6993.
The baby boy, Braiden Waters, was wearing a plaid pajama onesie with a white skull cap and a black fleece sweater, according to the police alert. He is also described as a male/black, 23 inches tall and 15 LBS with black hair.
The offender is described only as a male/black and was last seen with the vehicle and the victim northbound on Lincoln Avenue from Sibley Boulevard.
Anyone with information was asked to call 911 or Dolton police at 708-841-2533.
