9 COVID-19 cases identified

March 25, 2021

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating nine additional COVID-19 cases, of which four are locally transmitted.

All four locally transmitted cases are linked cases.

The five imported cases arrived from the Philippines, India and Pakistan.

A total of 291 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 219 local ones, of which 40 have unknown sources of infection.

The Government also announced that Block 2 of Lung Mun Oasis in Tuen Mun is now covered by a compulsory testing notice.

Mink International Play School & Mink International Pre-school in Tai Po and ESF International Kindergarten (Tung Chung) in Tung Chung are also covered by compulsory testing notices as a precaution, as there were outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection in the schools.

The Government will set up mobile specimen collection stations outside Hankow Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui and at Lung Yat Community Hall in Tuen Mun tomorrow, while the service period of some mobile specimen collection stations will be extended.
