162k people vaccinated

Around 162,100 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19, with about 140,700 receiving their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and about 21,400 their first dose of the Comirnaty jab, the Government announced.

 

About 16,200 people received their first vaccine dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today. Among them, around 9,500 received the Sinovac vaccine and about 6,700 the Comirnaty one.

 

The overall percentage of people who have received the Sinovac vaccine at eight community vaccination centres is about 72%, while around 90% have received the Comirnaty jab at seven centres.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospital for treatment.
