FBI-Chicago announced on Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021 that law enforcement agencies are searching for a stolen Dodge Durango involved in a series of carjackings. The FBI-Chicago and the Chicago Police Department are attempting to locate a Dodge Durango (Illinois plate S33 9713), believed to be involved in a series of carjackings and thefts in the Chicagoland area this week. The vehicle was initially taken at gunpoint, and the current location of the vehicle is unknown.
FBI-Chicago advised that if the vehicle is located, members of the public should not approach. Occupants are presumed armed and dangerous. FBI-Chicago urges the public call 911 with location information and other tips.
