Connecticut environmental attorneys have filed a new lawsuit under the federal Clean Water Act.
The lawsuit filed on behalf of environmental group Save the Sound Inc. uses that law to make its case, alleging that a corrosive pipe gave way and poured raw sewage into waterways leading to the Long Island Sound.
