NEW DELHI: Over 37 lakh healthcare workers across India have received shots of Covid-19 vaccine till January 30, the 15th day of the nationwide immunisation drive.
The government is planning to inoculate over 30 crore high-risk groups, including healthcare and frontline workers, the elderly and those with comorbidities by July 2021.
Nationwide vaccine trackerAccording to the latest health ministry data, Uttar Pradesh has administered the maximum number of vaccine doses in the country so far with over 4.63 lakh people inoculated.
It is followed by Rajashtan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Global vaccine trackerGlobally, over 90.44 million people have been administered shots of Covid-19 vaccine.
The United States, the country worst affected by the virus, has administered the most vaccine shots in the world at 27.88 million.
India is fast catching up and is currently at the 5th spot with 3.7 million doses.
