  • LAD Relief Pitcher #59
This is a substantial loss to the Dodgers’ bullpen and for fantasy managers who roster Phillips. The right-hander will be out of action for at least two weeks, and managers will want to make sure to follow for further updates on his status. Blake Treinen was activated off the injured list in the corresponding transaction, and he’s someone who could see save chances with Phillips out.
  • LAD Third Baseman #13
Muncy’s reward for a three-homer game Saturday vs. Atlanta is a day off against southpaw Max Fried. The 33-year-old slugger will sit with Enrique Hernandez playing third base and hitting fifth against Fried.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #6
Manoah comes off the injured list to make his season debut against the Nationals on Sunday. The right-hander had mixed results in his rehab appearances, but he was excellent Tuesday with 12 strikeouts over six innings in his finale. Manoah was one of the worst fantasy options in baseball last year, but isn’t far removed from being one of the best. Simply put, there’s as much risk — if not more — as there is reward with Manoah’s profile.
  • HOU Starting Pitcher #53
Javier didn’t pitch particularly well Saturday during his rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi, but the three runs allowed over 3 1/3 innings aren’t what’s important. What does matter is that Javier felt good after the start, and he was able to throw 68 pitches. The Astros really need the rotation help right now, and while they won’t rush Javier back, the chance for a return in the next week or so looks promising.
  • CLE Center Fielder #38
The Guardians are currently awaiting the results of the imaging before making a roster decision. Kwan left Saturday’s game because of tightness in the hamstring, and he’s not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Angels. A trip to the injured list can’t be ruled out, and Zack Meisel of The Athletic suggests that Kyle Manzardo could be a roster replacement if that takes place.
  • TEX Left Fielder #36
Langford left Saturday’s game with a leg injury that occured trying to beat out a ground ball. The 22-year-old rookie will sit Sunday with Corey Seager operating as the designated hitter and Josh Smith playing shortstop.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #34
Senga has now faced live hitters twice this week. The Mets will now determine the next steps for the right-hander in the coming days, as they want to see how he responds before deciding when he’ll begin a rehab assignment. There’s a very good chance he does begin that assignment at this point, however, and he’s on track to make his return around May 27 — the earliest Senga can be activated off the 60-day IL.
  • STL Right Fielder #3
Carlson is off the injured list, and the 25-year-old is hitting fifth while playing center field in his debut. The outfielder missed just around a month after injuring his shoulder in a crash during spring training. Carlson helps the Cardinals’ depth, but the former top prospect hasn’t had much offensive success at the highest level just yet. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach.
  • CLE Center Fielder #38
Kwan left Saturday with hamstring tightness, and it’s not surprising to see him out of the lineup for the series finale. With the 26-year-old out of action, the Guardians will have Will Brennan play in left field, which Estevan Florial will act as designated hitter and hit in Kwan’s leadoff spot. For now, he should be considered day-to-day.
  • LAA Catcher #14
O’Hoppe is going to miss at least one more game after he was hit with a foul ball during Saturday’s contest against Cleveland and he was forced to exit. Matt Thaiss gets the start behind the plate and will hit seventh. O’Hoppe should be considered day-to-day.
