NEW DELHI: Schools in the national capital opened on Monday for students of classes 10 and 12 outside containment zones after remaining shut for over 10 months following the outbreak of coronavirus.
Several states have already opened schools for some of the classes with restrictions after reporting a fall in coronavirus cases.

A majority of the states have opened physical classes for 10 and 12.
However, there are some states where schools have been opened for junior students as well.
Schools have adopted several measures to prevent the spread of the virus — staggered timing, reduced attendance in classes, CCTV cameras to monitor social distancing and sanitisation of classrooms.
Schools campuses across the country were ordered shut in March last year and students were asked to take online classes.
Here is a look at the timing of reopening of schools in various states.
