Armed Robbery Reported In Northbrook Court Parking Lot: Police

A woman was walking back to her car at the mall Monday night when approached by a group of men, one aiming his pistol at her.

NORTHBROOK, IL — A woman suffered minor injuries as the result of an armed robbery Monday night in a parking lot at Northbrook Court, according to police. The woman said she was walking to her car at around 6:27 p.m. when three to four men pulled up in an SUV.

After two men exited the vehicle, one pointed a pistol at the woman and ordered her to give them all of her belongings. The woman was then knocked to the ground and struck, according to a release from police. Her purse was taken before the men fled in the SUV. The woman said the men were wearing surgical masks.

She suffered minor injuries, but was not hospitalized, according to police.
