Teen Girl Shot in Apparent Road Rage Incident on Mannheim Rd Near O’Hare International Airport

Police, firefighters and paramedics from Chicago responded about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2020 to a report that a person was shot while in a vehicle in the block of 6200 Mannheim Road near the east side of O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

The girl was in her vehicle, traveling northbound in the block of 6200 Mannheim Road, when shots were fired at her vehicle and she was struck in the thigh, according to a Chicago Police Department news release. She was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where she was listed in good condition.

No arrests have been made. Initially no vehicle or offender description was available for the incident that occurred between Coffey Road and Zemke Boulevard.
