Enraged over a parking row, a 20-year-old youth sustained severe injuries after four armed miscreants attacked him in the night on Friday. The youth had gone to attend a birthday party in Baghmughalia.
According to the police, the victim, Ritesh Parmar, had gone to attend a birthday party and when he was parking his bike, neighbours opposed parking which later turned violent.
The victim was rushed to a hospital where his condition is reportedly critical.
In the initial investigation, police have found that the victim had gone to attend a party in Baghmughalia and while he was parking bike, the accused opposed which lead to a verbal spate between them and soon turned violent. The accused attacked with wooden stick and sharp edged weapons, in the attack victim sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to hospital by his friends and police were informed.
The accused went absconding after injuring the victim. Criminal record of the accused is been searched. The search for the accused has intensified.
The police have registered a case under section 307 and 34 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, Kotwali police has booked two miscreants for cheating in the name of fake gold weighing 100 gm worthRs 5.1 lakh. The accused cheated a jeweller at Sarafa market in the Old city area.
According to police the accused were nabbed when they came to sell gold to the victim Rajesh Soni who runa Shrinath Jewelrs in Saraf market.
