The world’s largest dnp Supernova Infinity front-projection display has been installed in a conference room in  a 40-storey skyscraper in Japan.

The display measures 724″ (18.3 metres) in 32:9 format and was supplied by dnp partner KIC Corporation to the building company and hall management company at the Tokyo Port Hall Takeshiba Office Tower.

Covering the the entire end wall of the conference room, the display is intended for use in large-scale exhibitions, launch events, art shows, IT seminars, award ceremonies and fashion shows.

The Supernova Infinity display is a modular screen system, featuring ALR (Ambient Light Rejection technology) that enables any number of Supernova screen units to be assembled together with no visible screen joints.

”The panels are perfectly joined and the entire display looks astonishingly seamless. Many visitors have mistaken the dnp Supernova Infinity installation for a huge LED screen for its amazing quality”, said Kunihiro Kobori, conference coordinator sub manager from Infield Inc which manages the hall.

Projection for the screen is provided by two Panasonic PT-RQ22KJ laser projectors, said to be the world's smallest and lightest 4K projectors in the 20,000 lumens class.
