Parking Ban Issued For Downtown Concord During Overnight Hours

No parking will be allowed downtown — so that snow can be removed from city streets and sidewalks by the General Services Department.

CONCORD, NH — The city of Concord has issued a "winter maintenance parking ban" for downtown.

The ban is being implemented to remove snow on downtown city streets and sidewalks. No parking will be allowed during the overnight hours — from 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Compared to past years, the parking ban area has expanded to include a number of streets with new metered parking spaces.

Vehicles not removed from theses streets will be ticketed and towed by Concord police.

Free parking is available in city garages between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. in permit-lease spaces and 9 a.m. in metered spaces.
