I’m sure the working practice in our region at least has always been for a seemly break between Christmas and the New Year -possibly because everyone is on holiday.

Today a collleague picked up an appeal date for New Year’s Eve.  Why?  Because they can, and it’s still 2020.

Best get on to HMCTS with details of availability, if this would be inconvenient.

Not much being listed in December but, yes, I was aware that they are certainly listing between the 29th and 31st.

In the meantime tracking any such benefit appeals seems impossible as https://www.track-benefit-appeal.service.gov.uk/ remains down due, apparently, to the expiration of a security certificate.

Looking forward to that next HMCTS webinar on their Covid coping mechanisms. Indeed, I feel a few questions in advance coming on.
